About the Journal
Procast: Journal of Communication, Multimedia, and Information Technology Development is a peer-reviewed academic journal that provides a platform for scholarly research at the intersection of communication, multimedia, information technology, and artificial intelligence. The journal aims to facilitate the dissemination of innovative and evidence-based research that responds to the evolving challenges of digital society.
Procast welcomes original research articles, theoretical studies, methodological contributions, and technology-based applications. The journal covers a broad range of topics, including digital communication and media, multimedia development, information systems, software engineering, artificial intelligence, human–technology interaction, digital transformation, computational approaches, educational technology, and the ethical and societal implications of emerging technologies.
The journal encourages interdisciplinary research using qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods, computational, design-based, and experimental approaches. Particular attention is given to studies that demonstrate clear theoretical, methodological, or practical contributions and connect technological development with communication practices, human needs, and societal transformation.
Procast is published four times a year in March, June, September, and December. The journal does not charge authors any Article Processing Charge (APC), supporting accessible and equitable scholarly communication.
